Matt Miller

Matt Miller is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and educator from South Jersey. Currently pursuing a degree in both music performance and education at the University of the Arts, Matt has studied with some of the finest musicians and teachers in the Philadelphia area- Tony Salicandro, Larry McKenna, Chris Farr, Mark Allen, Kevin Coltri, Denis DiBlasio, Greg Riley, Tara Rozanski, Gia Walton, and Daniel Kim, just to name a few. Their guidance enabled him to succeed from an early age, when Matt performed in the All South Jersey and All State jazz bands, wind ensembles and orchestras for seven years, often leading his section. In 2021, Matt was the recipient of the Governor’s Award in Arts Education. Matt has continued to perform in a variety of ensembles, playing jazz, classical, funk, and rock music, playing many instruments. 
 
Specializing in the woodwind family, Matt enjoys teaches a variety of instruments at Lumberton School of Music, including saxophones, clarinets, flutes, double reeds, piano, and double bass.
