Described as a singing actress, lyric coloratura soprano Sophia Santiago has performed leading roles in a multitude of venues across the New York metropolitan area. She has specialized experience with Mozart and Verdi operatic roles as well as a rich and diverse choral repertoire from her time at Westminster Choir College.

 

Sophia has received degrees from Westminster Choir College and Manhattan School of Music and currently sings with the Philadelphia Symphonic Chorus. She serves as a piano, voice, and flute teacher at Lumberton School of Music and continues to maintain an active performing career.

 

Sophia is delighted to share her stage and acting experience with young singers. She works flexibly with students young and mature to help facilitate their personal needs and goals in music while offering a solid technical foundation for both piano, flute, and voice.
